Attraction Information
Inverewe Garden and Estate
Inverewe Garden and Estate is a huge Garden but with a difference! Flowers, plants, shrubs and trees from all over the world are grown just where you would not expect them: right beside the North Atlantic on a higher latitude (level) than St Petersburg in Russia ! If you come during school holidays you will be given your own map to lead the family around to information boards all of which have a picture of an animal, some information about it and a clue to the word-search which, if you get it right, wins you a prize.
Once you have seen the Garden go down to the wildlife hide and sit patiently and you might see otters, pine martins, herons, divers and if you are really lucky white tailed sea eagles! If you have a dog it will enjoy the Pinewood Trail and the Inverewe Trail rough wooded areas with super smells, and for you, great views of the Loch and surrounding countryside. You will enjoy it whether you have a dog or not.
