Attraction Information
Ingleton Open Air Heated Swimming Pool is an idyllic place to swim that is open seasonally between the end of May and the beginning of September. The pool has recently been improved and modernised, and is a popular attraction with both locals and visitors. Plus, water babies under 4 years old can swim for free!
Located in a riverside setting, this community managed open air 20m (65ft7in) pool is heated to around 80F (26.6 C), and has remained open since 1934, thanks mainly to the tireless work of local volunteers, (who are now raising funds to build a Splash Zone).
There are various public swimming sessions available daily, with additional senior member only sessions on weekdays. The pool is available for private hire (at any time outside of public sessions), and also for organised swimming lessons. If you and the kids would like to swim here regularly, annual membership is offered, which entitle you to reduced entrance fees for all swim sessions, plus your first swim of the summer is free!
Special Events include It's A 'Water' Knockout, Pool Barbeques and the Swimming Gala.
There is a snack kiosk on site.
