Attraction Information
Ice Sheffield is totally committed to catering for the interests and aspirations of the whole community, offering recreational skating, learn to skate sessions, children's birthday parties (including the extravagant Foam and Paint varieties!) and ice disco sessions too!
The Penguin Club is for 18 months to 5 years old and is designed to help your child to learn to skate through play. These sessions tend to run in 6 week blocks, for which they're given a certificate for completing!
Ice Hockey lessons are also available, for older kids of course, and these again are available in 6 week blocks. So this is an excellent venue for taking kids who tend to stick at things, but they will really see some great progress in that block.
And there are the normal lessons too: again in their 6 week block style, with intensive style crash courses too for those who just have to learn to skate now!
And just beside this centre is Altitude at ice Sheffield: an action packed (outdoor) high ropes adventure course which features over 30 challenging obstacles - including rope bridges, swinging logs and a climbing wall. Then finish the course with the exhilarating 30ft leap of faith! A great alternative to the slippery stuff if you're not fond of the cold, but even better as an addition to the skating for a frankly epic family day out for active families up for both a treat and a challenge!
