If you or your child only has that amount left, it&#8217;s best to renew it as soon as, just in case it may cause problems down the line. However, the time left on their passport<strong> will not be added<\/strong> to their new one.<\/p>\n<p>If your child is <strong>under the age of 12<\/strong>, someone will have to <strong>confirm their identity<\/strong> when you&#8217;ve submitted the application. Which can be paid by either debit or credit card. You will need a<strong> digital photo<\/strong> and <strong>supporting documents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Post:\u00a0<\/strong>This will cost <strong>\u00a358.50<\/strong>. You will need to fill out the application paper form, which you can get from either the <strong>Post Offic<\/strong>e or by <strong>calling the Passport Adviceline<\/strong> on 0300 222 0000.<br \/>\nRead the information given to you in a booklet form and fill in the sections outlined for you. If your child is above the age of 12, they will also need to fill in a couple of sections.
