Our Family Trip to See Zog at Warwick Castle<\/h1>\n

Have you (or your little ones) ever wanted to see a real dragon?… a friendly one, of course. Our toddler is obsessed with all things Zog, so it was only right we visited him in his home at Warwick Castle<\/a> to experience all the magic!<\/p>\n

Meet the Family<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

I\u2019m Abby, mum of two boys; Ernie who is three and Artie who is 7 months and a fianc\u00e9e to my lovely Robert who I met in Australia \u2013 we\u2019re both actually from England and England is definitely home\u2026 even if we have \u2018ping ponged\u2019 a few times. We are definitely a family that adventures, always looking for the next fun thing to do.<\/p>\n

Planning Our Visit<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

As with most parents of toddlers, we spend a lot of our time reading stories to them, embracing that precious childhood magic. After seeing a few ads and a bit of research, we found Warwick Castle<\/a> to be THE perfect place for a family visit.<\/p>\n

Booking the Trip<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

We planned our visit at the same time our parents were coming over from Australia for a holiday. I originally got a quote online for \u00a3453 but delayed booking for a week, and the price went down to \u00a3279 \u2013 a great deal for 5 adults, a toddler, and a baby, midweek!<\/p>\n

Our Day at Warwick Castle<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

The day arrived, and I\u2019m not sure who was more excited, me or Ernie! We set off early morning, grabbed lunch, and made our journey to Warwick Castle<\/a>, arriving in the early afternoon. The castle’s entrance, with towering trees and a winding forest driveway, was a little enchanting.<\/p>\n

The Zog Playland<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

Ernie was slightly scared of the dragons in the Zog playland but enjoyed the slides and zip line. There were picnic benches, perfect for families to spend more time.<\/p>\n

Exploring the Castle<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

After the playland, we took a short walk into Warwick Castle, encountering resident peacocks and exploring various rooms. It was fascinating to see Warwick Castle set up with clothes, paintings, and fabulous interiors.<\/p>\n

Staying in the Knight\u2019s Village<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

We stayed in a Knights themed lodge<\/a> at Warwick Castle.It was cosy, clean, and had a great story time session with Zog and Princess Pearl. The dinner at the restaurant was enjoyable with entertaining knights and delicious food.<\/p>\n

Final Thoughts and Tips<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Warwick Castle and the Zog experience were amazing. We’d love to visit again for a longer stay.<\/p>\n
