It opened in 2009 and quickly gained attention for its unique features. Standing at a height of 98 feet, Mumbo Jumbo boasts a world record-breaking 112-degree vertical drop, making it the steepest roller coaster in the world made from steel until 2011. This thrilling ride has vibrant orange supports and black tracks and includes 2 full inversions! Mumbo Jumbo also reaches a maximum G-force of 4g (which is a force close to what jet fighter pilots experience!).<\/p>\n

It then holds you for about 5 seconds before you dive into a weightless feeling (almost as if you were flying or freefalling).<\/p>\n

Fun Fact: <\/strong>Both Mumbo Jumbo and SAW: The Ride<\/a> feature steep vertical drops, but Mumbo Jumbo is distinctive for having trim brakes, which are used to control the speed of the coaster. SAW: The Ride, on the other hand, does not have trim brakes to regulate the speed of its vertical drop!<\/p>\n

Is this record-breaking coaster worth it?<\/h2> \n \n

\n I would say absolutely yes! It will get your heart racing and adrenaline pumping through your veins – I can guarantee you will be screaming with excitement as soon as you hit that first drop! (I am still not used to that beyond vertical drop – it definitely gets your heart racing!).<\/p>\n

I would give this coaster a 4 on our DOWTK Thrillometre! (With 1 being Chill Thrills and 5 being a Thrill Titan).<\/p>\n

But don’t just take my word for it! Michael Wilmot said This is such a fun ride. Love the more than vertical drop <\/em>and JJ Rowe adds “An amazing ride, the inverse drop and inversions make the ride a lot of fun, it\u2019s only small and doesn\u2019t last long but it is great fun. Definitely one of the best rides in the park<\/em>.”<\/p>\n
