Welcome to the West Midlands Safari Park, a place where families are transported into a realm of wonder, excitement, and discovery. But…they have a brand new attraction – the Lion Ridge<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\n The Lion Ridge is a brand new exhibit<\/strong> that opened in July 2023! It’s a chance to see the African lions in a way you’ve never done before.<\/p>\n

The lions are big cats who live in prides, and in this new habitat, there’s 4 male lions who were actually born in WMSP! Hodge, Harabi, Havoc and Hercules.<\/p>\n

What’s so special about this new animal housing? Well, guests at the safari park can now watch them from a new viewpoint<\/strong>. Observe the adult lions discover their new habitat<\/strong> and lion landscapes, splash in the pools<\/strong> and climb rocks and logs<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Their brand new habitat also has a state-of-the-art house<\/strong> for the lions to live in – like their very own lion lodge! There’s plenty of vegetation growing there and their new home allows the lions to walk about indoors and\u00a0<\/em>outdoors. Which has never been done before!<\/p>\n

\n To celebrate their brand new walk-through<\/strong>, there will be an exciting event – Roar & Explore<\/strong>. Where everyone can join with their pride and get stuck into a whole host of lion-based activities<\/strong>, learn about their conservation<\/strong> and about the lions too!<\/p>\n

From a scratch card trail<\/strong> where you could win a VIP Liong Feeding Experience<\/strong>, to a lion photo point<\/strong> where you can transform into a lion yourself! Luscious mane and all…<\/p>\n

Not only that but Eddie the Explorer<\/strong> and his friends will be there to host an interactive, multi-sensory live trail<\/strong>! He’ll take you on an adventure as you find the new lions. You can also learn all sorts of lion facts<\/strong> to earn stickers at the Conservation Station<\/strong> and join the Facebook competition to win a stay at the Lion Lodges!!\u00a0Did we mention they had luxury lodges?! There’s 7 to choose from!<\/em><\/p>\n

With so many fun activities at this animal attraction this August, you and the family will definitely be having a really wild day out.<\/p>\n
