\n Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist known for her extensive use of polka dots and for her infinity installations<\/strong>. Some of her most notable works include Obliteration Room (2002\u2013present) and Infinity Mirror Room\u2014Phalli’s Field (1965\/2016).<\/p>\n

Her artwork first came to public attention in her first solo exhibition in the early 1950s. The show was held in her hometown. Kusama was and continues to be a woman who broke through the shackles of tradition in the early part of the twentieth century in a conservative area of Japan. So her success and achievements cannot be underestimated!<\/p>\n

Kusama’s art is colourful, bold, immersive, and otherworldly which is the perfect combination for bright-eyed kids and curious adults. Kusama is renowned and adored for her surreal world of dots and pumpkins<\/strong> amongst other artistic themes.<\/p>\n

She has created a broad scope of work from hallucinatory paintings to fascinating sculptures, and immersive environments<\/strong>, such as her Infinity Mirror Rooms.<\/strong> <\/em>This piece had the aim of to transcend people beyond themselves, in order to make them feel part of something greater.<\/p>\n

Yayoi Kusama’s gift is in her ability to provoke bigger questions about human existence in her artwork that electrifies the senses.
