Emergency Services Day, The Trafford Centre
Little firefighters, paramedics and police will enjoy seeing up to 100 emergency vehicles, displays and demonstrations. They’ll even be modern and vintage fire engines, ambulances and police cars!
That’s not all, they’ll be live performances from bands and choirs as well as character appearances throughout the day. It’s a fun free day out for the whole family!

Storytelling at the National Gallery's Summer on the Square!
The National Gallery is hosting lots of interactive storytelling sessions over the summer. Head on over to the National Gallery to explore original stories written and illustrated by local primary schools, wander around the gallery and create your own stories inspired by art!
Oh, and there’s lots of other activities to take part in, including more arts and crafts, decoding pictures and more.

Come to the Beach, Heaton Park
The giant beach (Come to the Beach) is coming back to Heaton Park and promises sun, sand and laughter (well… fingers crossed for the sun). You’ll find 100 tonnes of sand, deck chairs, buckets, spades and more. There will also be character and dinosaur appearances throughout the day as well as a range of children’s entertainment.
But that’s not all; there’s also a seaside fun park with traditional rides, attractions, inflatables, bungee trampolines, game stalls, street food stalls and more. It’s the perfect day out for the whole family – and it doesn’t have to cost a penny!
Please note that the beach is free, but you must purchase tokens for the rides and attractions.

Meet Adorable Animals at Roskilly’s Farm, Cornwall
Roskilly’s Farm is a must this summer with the kids! Whether you’re visiting Cornwall for your family staycation or you already live there! It’s free admission, and it’s the perfect day out for kids!
There’s a mile of easy walking (so great for all ages!), and the free walking trail includes The Top and Bottom Ponds, Long Meadows, The Old Withy Woods, the Old Orchard and more! From family beaches, magnificent views of the Cornish coast and adorable animals. It’s pretty much an all-rounded trip!
