That’s right, it’s rumoured that one of the world’s most popular games is about to become a real-life theme park experience! We are absolutely buzzing about it!

What Is Coming To Chessington World of Adventures?

Merlin Entertainments has submitted plans for a brand-new immersive land at Chessington World of Adventures! This land is set to replace the Wild Asia area and is rumoured to be a Minecraft-themed land! While full details are still under wraps, we do know that it will be packed with interactive attractions, themed experiences, and even a brand-new rollercoaster!

What Can We Expect?

Here’s what we know so far! The Minecraft theming is rumoured BUT there will be an brand new rollercoaster landing at Chessington! We’re sure this is going to be your new favourite ride! The area is said to also feature themed shops, restaurants, attractions AND themed accommodation! We hear there’ll be a number of 3D theming zones and special effects. Yep, that means you will hopefully be able to enjoy Minecraft-themed snacks, merch and an overnight stay.

When Will The Minecraft Themed Area At Chessington Open?

The new immersive land is set to open between 2026 and 2027! We know that sounds long, but we’re sure it’ll be 100% worth it.
