- Children's Farms
Suitable for all ages
Venue type: Indoor, Outdoor
From bizarre British wildlife to rivers, rainforests and an African adventure there’s more than enough to keep the family entertained at Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom!
Surrounded by countryside, this farm is so much more than bottle-feeding lambs – although you can do that too! Say hello to the parrots (they might say hello back!) in the parrotphernalia where over 20 different species of parrots wait to make your acquaintance. There are all things slithery and scaly in Rivers and Rainforest and an ostrich, capybara and alpaca in the loosely named, Shropshire Savannah!
There are daily feedings and talks with some of our favourites including the lemurs, owls and hedgehogs. Try and catch (get it?) the sheep racing if you visit on a weekend or in the school holidays and watch out for skunk time! There are also lots of indoor and outdoor play activities to get stuck into once all the animals have been seen - and a well-deserved coffee and sit down for parents!

Every year ive taken my daUghter for her birthday and every year we have a fab time we always take a picniCk and make the most of are day, we go round 2-3 times when were there. As we love animals We enjoy it everytime. Reading the revIews On here sound over the top. They hAve alot of animals to see even though its not a zoo its a farm and you would have to pay alot more if it was a zoo. Ive been to more expensive places. Me and my daughter love hoo farm. -KaTie neal
