- Indoor and Soft Play Areas
Suitable for all ages
Venue type: Indoor
Hickory Dickory's Playhouse is frankly a treat for the lot of you! Well organised, well-spaced, well designed and well located, even dad's going to appreciate this one.
Their multiple floors are pleasingly spacious and involve all the classics plus a few additional treats beyond the norm like the powerful ball firing cannons in and around the ball pools, cool trampolines and colourful padding that permits them to fling themselves about with abandon! All the classic components to entertain and exhaust the kids are here somewhere, all they've got to do is get in there and find them!
Plus, there is also multi-sports zone full of balls and marked out for several game types. Keep an eye on the small ones in here however as it's open to all and you know what big kids are like!
There's a social enclosed section just for the little ones, with more sedate features for them to interact with including soft construction materials and colourful play fare plus space to crawl and toddle. There is also a toddler morning every morning weekdays during term time when there are some led and varied activities on offer in addition to the facilities.
Maximum age and height restrictions to play in this facility are 4ft11 tall and age 11 years. If one is reached way before the other this still applies! Plus they're very strict (and quite right too!) on everybody wearing socks whilst in the play frame, and you mustn't bring in any outside sourced refreshments, with the exception of baby food.
Their cafe features an award winning menu in the field of healthy eating though, so leave the pack up at home and have something good to eat in every sense of the phrase!

i have been here a few times over a 9/10year period always hoping the place has changed but it never has the staff are so rude and miserable and when stood in the que waiting to order food you just stand watching the girls having a chat the food is over priced! and they wouldn't let my 11 year old on equipment even though there were adults running around everywhere! i just told him to go on anyway, so it turned out he played for free :) i don't see the big deal its made out of scaffolding that carries big builders all day long!!!!
