Hever Castle is a delight to explore with the smalls, plus handily there is a castle audio tour in children's English available so they can follow the story more easily. But when you've looked around there's so much else to do!

The traditional wooden Adventure Playground is suitable for children up to the age of 14. Test your Tudor history and see if you can reach the slide in Henry's Tower! There is also special equipment custom sized for the under 5s.

The 100 year old Yew hedge maze is situated next to the castle itself and provides fun for all children! It is open from April to October, weather permitting!

The Water Maze can be found on Sixteen Acre Island. Circular paths made out of steppingstones lead you to the central grotto - but beware as water jets might spurt up if you go the wrong way! (Open Easter to October, also weather permitting)

Rowing Boats and canoes are available to hire so you can explore the lake near the Loggia under your own steam, but if you want to use someone else's you can relax on the 20 minute African Queen Steamboat Trip instead.

Plus the Miniature Model Houses offers some fascinating insights into the history of country houses through the ages and is also exceptionally cute! The charmingly intricate small-scale houses and their interiors will delight all ages.

Have-a-go-archery is also available during school holidays (and at weekends from March until the end of October)!

Entrance to all attractions with the exception of Boating, Archery and Shield Painting is included in all ticket prices, the rest is available at small additional cost.
