Attraction Information
Hazlehead Park can be found on the outskirts of Aberdeen and has plenty of woodland to explore. It is open throughout the year, has plenty to see and do, and it's free to visit, making it a great place to take the kids whatever the season.
The park is a popular spot for all kinds of activities, from woodland walks to picnics so it ideal and flexible territory for a multitude of adventures! There is a large children's adventure play area to keep the kids amused and blow off some steam, plus football fields, pitch and putt, and formal golf course so there's loads of scope for organised actitivites too!
The park is also a good spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings, which include a number of lovely flowerbeds, rose gardens, and heather beds. There is also a maze, which everyone can have a go at!
The park contains a number of heritage items and a variety of sculptures to look at, many of which have been rescued from various parts of the city. Oh, and be sure to visit the Pet's Corner to see a variety of animals including tropical birds and fish, plus small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs! What more can you ask of a park!?

Opening Times
Open daily from 8am until 1 hour before dusk. Pet's Corner open 10am to 6pm in the summer, and 10am to 3pm in the winter.
