Attraction Information
Happy Mount Park is a beautiful park situated on Morecambe Promenade that was originally opened in the 1920s but has developed into a fantastic, modern, family friendly place with activities for all ages. A traditional park where you can take a leisurely stroll, or sit and relax, in attractive and well tended parkland. Open all year and free to visit, although there is a charge for some of the activities.
The park has a great Natural Adventure Play Area that offers a great space to play, with new trees and plenty of natural resources such as boulders, sand, and logs. It also has a 34m zip line, a 5m high swing, and a maypole! There is also a safe Play Area with a climbing frame, slide, and swings, including some suitable for under 5s.
If you fancy a wander, try the Woodland Walk, with a new Habitat Trail to follow that you can download for free online, which will help you find out about all the animals that live in the park. One of the best free activities is the Splash Park (open daily between May and September), which is one of the largest in the region and features water fences, an aqua arch, interactive water jets, and more! Be sure to bring your swimming stuff!
Chargeable activities include Play Land with rides for the little ones, a Miniature Railway, Putting, Trampolines, Adventure Golf, an attractive traditional Roundabout, plus Pirates in the Park (indoor soft play)! There is also a floodlit Multi Sports area for basketball, roller hockey, tennis, and a side football, with rackets and balls for hire. Casual bookings can be made at the park kiosk, or you can call 01524 582333 for block bookings.
