Attraction Information
Gower Heritage Centre is a visitor attraction and rural life antique farming and cultivation museum, based around a rare fully operational 12th century water-mill - but with plenty of fun to offset the educational side! It's a visit ideally suited to families of all ages and brilliant for bringing the grandparents along, with an old fashioned games arcade, craft shops and activities which include include puppet making, pottery and woollen mill crafts.
There is also a sandpit area, adventure playground, indoor soft play area and a ride on tractor play area, plus an animal farm with chicks, ducks, baby rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, sheep and horses! The heritage centre is also home to Wales' smallest cinema!
There are often seasonal and family oriented events happening with extra fun activities laid on so check through the link to see if anything is going on when you plan to visit. They're also only a 15 minute walk from Three Cliffs Bay: one of the most breath taking bays in the Gower! The entire peninsula is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to a rather distinctive culture that nods to the unusual mix of Welsh, West Country and Norman ancestry.
