Go Ape Itchen Valley Southampton is one of the highest courses in Southern England at a knee-knocking 12m high. Add to that 440 acres of woodland, 40 crossings, and a giant 250m long zip wire: it all equals up to an award-winning day out!
After a swift safety briefing, climb all the way up a ladder into the canopy. From here you’ll have to cross a rickety bridge, cling to rope ladders, edge through tunnels and take a leap of faith from one of the terrifying Tarzan swings! With two to three hours you’ll have plenty of time to get used to life at high altitude, that is before conquering the final zip wire on Site 5. It crosses both the field and play park for a truly exhilarating finale!
The site sits right next to the River Itchen and offers a lovely view of the surrounding area. Another highlight of the course comes with their Tree Top Junior experience which means any mini monkeys over 10 years can also explore the forest from a great height.
