- High Ropes Courses
Suitable for ages: Older Children (9-12) and Teenagers (13-18)
Venue type: Outdoor
Go Ape Bedgebury is an award-winning high ropes experience packed with tunnels, tumbles and rope ladders. It’s bound to be a barrel of laughs, with a few monkeys thrown in too!
A Tree Top Jungle Crossing typically takes two to three hours - that is after a full safety briefing so you’re prepared to take on the obstacles ahead of you. Bedgebury’s course features stirrup crossings, a thrilling Tarzan Swing plus a zip wire which at a humongous 170 metres long (!) is an incredible drop down to the forest floor. Mini-monkeys over 1m tall can even get into the swing of things on the Tree Top Junior course, with stepping stones and the brilliantly titled, ‘Grandpops Crossing’!
Bedgebury Forest is known as the Garden of England, given it has one of the most complete collections of conifers anywhere in the world. They make up a huge part of the gorgeous Kent countryside and even the cheekiest of monkeys will agree they’re quite a sight, especially if you follow one of the forest’s bike trails.
