Monkey business is always on the cards at Go Ape Aberfoyle with not one, but two courses! That means double the size, double the adventure.
Nestled in the woodlands of Trossachs National Park, this was the first of three Go Ape course to come to Scotland. Now it’s an award-winning site built 46 metres up, as well as laying claim two of Britain’s longest zip wires. Each stretch to a huge 400m long and travel over a natural waterfall, offering up a slightly scary but totally stunning ride back down to earth.
The introduction of a dual course means your troop can easily fill the allotted two to three hours with rope ladders, zip wires and a tree lift. You can choose between the moderate or extreme route depending on how confident you feel, and both will be undertaken after a thorough safety briefing. With the new courses also comes the back-to-back black crossings which may inspire a few weak knees, while the WOW factor comes from a surprise 120 ft high, 426m long finale!
