Attraction Information
Fyne Court Nature Reserve has an interesting mix of woodland paths, fields, flat grassy areas and interesting old buildings to discover as you explore!
There is a cobbled courtyard with picnic tables and a self serve information centre to use as your HQ, before setting off to enjoy the nature trails with accompanying leaflets and a handy well-marked and decently surfaced trail suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. There are boggy areas and a pond and although pond dipping is sadly not permitted (to protect the little ecosystem) this a perfect place to stop and watch dragonflies, especially at the end of summer.
Ideal activities to embark on with the family here include hunting mini beasts, paddling in the stream, ball games on the grass and hide and seek! It should be noted that den building and tree climbing are not encouraged andthe wooded area is not a suitable place for wild running due to the steep drops so do be careful, although at the outer edges there are flatter areas that can be explored.
To the left of the car park there is a secluded grassy area with a folly that looks like a small castle: great place for a picnic and imaginative games! Why not take a costume along for the smalls and take some cool photos?!
