Attraction Information
Fleetwood Museum takes you back through time to find out what the town of Fleetwood was like at different points in history from its fishing heyday to it's role now as a leisure resort.
Discover information about ferry services, cargo trade, lifeboats and brave lifeboat men, plus the heroic role of trawler men during World War II. Find out about Fleetwood's successful deep sea and inshore fishing and the harsh conditions that some fishermen had to endure.
The staff are full of knowledge and happy to show you around and answer any questions you might have about all the fascinating objects on display.
There are lots of really interesting displays and exhibitions, some of which are interactive and there is a quiz to complete too. They also offer fun family events, including arts and crafts sessions during the school summer holidays.
You should allow yourself a couple of hours to wander round this great local museum with a nautical air. Ahoy!
