Attraction Information

Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve stretches along both sides of the Clyde gorge, which is fringed by modern mixed plantation and ancient natural woodland, providing a great variety of habitats full of wildlife to discover. It's free to visit too!
There are 3 different waterfalls to see along the Clyde Walkway, so make sure you bring your camera to take pictures of the stunning views. The 3m Dundaff Linn is close to the village, and easy for anyone to reach, but a 25 minute walk (approximately) will take you to Corra Linn, which is a whopping 28m high! If you fancy a bit more of a wander, why not visit Bonnington Linn, which is 11m high and about 45 minute's walk away. As you wander, look out for kingfishers and otters!

If you want to find out about the area and the animals that live there, pop in to the Visitor Centre, which is open daily and free to visit. There you can watch live footage of nesting peregrines in the Peregrine Experience, plus there are interactive games and toys, including wildlife crafts! Take the Victorian Grand Tour to learn all about the history of the Falls of Clyde, which is the location of Britain's first commercial Hydroelectric Power Station!

Ranger led badger and bat walks are available during evenings in the summer, and there is a great events programme run by the Scottish Wildlife Trust during this season too.
