This April, hop aboard the Easter Special at Audley End Miniature Railway for some seasonal surprises and make some magical family memories. Sure to entertain are our popular farmyard characters who will greet you during your adventure with us. Every day from 5th to 21st April, come along to spring into the Easter spirit!
Our friendly Farmer will welcome you onboard before you head into our woods to spot egg–citing Easter scenes throughout the forest. You’ll be entertained by ‘Shearlock Holmes,’ the world’s greatest sheep detective, who has teamed up with the Easter Bunny and the Farmyard animals to help solve the mystery of the missing eggs! Each child will also receive a springtime souvenir to take home.
Once the case is cracked, Little Bo Peep will guide you back to the Woodland Station and invite you to stroll through the Fulfen Forest before arriving at the potting shed. Here, with the help of our friendly farmers, you will plant your own carrot seeds to take home and nurture into a fully grown delicious carrot!
Follow the magic through our Fairy and Elf Walk, to see how they have decorated their handmade homes this Easter.
Head to our Stage Show to find our bold and mischievous Fox, who will alternate between storytelling sessions and then lively interactive games throughout the day.
The Easter entertainment continues in the picnic field, where children can let off steam in the adventure play area. Enjoy our egg-sellent food and drink – with seasonal treats on offer – available at the Woodland Cafe to keep the whole family fuelled for fun.
