Attraction Information
Endcliffe Park, located 2 miles southwest of Sheffield city centre, is a 15 hectare city park built to commemorate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria, that has a river, stepping stones, 2 ponds full of ducks and waterfowl, statues and sculptures, woodlands, floral features, and a cafe. It is open daily throughout the year and is free to visit.
There is a large children's play area, with some of the most varied and complex equipment in Sheffield, and plenty to amuse kids of all ages. Pullins Amusements is also based here, offering fairground fun at weekends, and during school holidays.
The park is listed on English Heritage's National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens, and has a number of Grade II listed features to look out for, such as the Jubilee Monument, Toll Gates, Pavilion and Lodge, and a statue of Queen Victoria.
Endcliffe Park is made up of woodland as well as parkland, and there is a Woodland Walk to follow. The pond to the west of the park has an island, which is a good resting place for wildlife, and the larger pond on the southern side of the park is walled with a path on top.
A number of outdoor events are held in the park, including community festivals and carnivals, outdoor theatre and music performances, summer play schemes, and more!
