The Birmingham Bears are in town this summer for 7 very special matches including inflatables, picnics and even a surf simulator! It’s cricket but made for the little critters in your family.
The main event, alongside the match, has got to be the free Kids Zone. It’s open pre-match and is stuffed with bouncy castles, gladiator duels, face painting and the ultimate challenge: the surf simulator. Families can then pick up the pace at Vitality Blast which recreates the best bits of cricket in a super speedy style.
The Edgbaston grounds are renowned as the home of cricket in the UK, however, these events play the sport as you’ve never seen it played before; that means groovy tunes on the speakers, constant chanting and cheering, as well as the chance to take selfies with the players once the action has finished. What’s also fantastic about these events is that under 16s go free so it’s the thrifty fun for everyone.
