Attraction Information
The charming Easton Walled Gardens are not only family friendly but eminently well planned and delivered with kids and grandparents in mind: the walk round may be a full mile but there is plenty of sturdy seating provided at regular intervals and there are convenient short cuts from almost all areas to get you back to the loos at the tea room quickly: convenient!
Whilst there are several types of garden to explore the clear favourites for most folk are the amazing 40 varieties of sweet pea and stunning displays of snowdrops (provided you time your visit carefully!). The garden types include the vast swathes of The Main Garden, the delightful flower filled Pickery (no picking, ironically), plus the delicious and somewhat educational Vegetable Garden and the informal whimsy of The Cottage Garden. Oodles to learn about if you've a mind too but plenty of visually striking plants to distract and amuse if you're just paying a casual visit.
Throughout the year as well as the natural delights of the seasonal changes there are also scattered annual activities too, like late Sunday opening 4pm to 6pm throughout August for Dog Walkers who'll get free refreshments (pooch too).
