About East Kilbride Ice Rink
East Kilbride Ice Rink is a 50m by 25m permanent ice rink in the town centre catering for a variety of skaters, from kids' sessions, family sessions, and Friday night sessions aimed at teenagers. So whatever your age or ability level, they have a session to suit you, and skate hire isfree!
If you have your own skates but the blades are blunt, they will sharpen them for you for less than £6. They even have special event nights and they offer the chance to have a birthday party with a difference too!
Special skating sessions include Cartoon Club for under 14s, Friday Freeze with chart and dance music, and Oldies and classics if you fancy stepping back in time while you skate!
Skating lessons are available too, for all ages (you're never too old or young to learn!), and offer a great opportunity to get active and have fun with the kids. Ice skating is a great activity for active families to do together which is not only fun and entertaining but also increases balance, grace and fitness.
