About East Anglia Transport Museum
East Anglia Transport Museum is a great tourist attraction that also has an educational role, with a living museum that shows the development of mechanical transport over almost a century, where vehicles of yesteryear can been seen in action!
Journey back in time as you travel on a few of the exhibits along the streets, exploring a collection of one of the widest ranges of preserved vehicles of any museum. This is a great opportunity to travel on types of vehicle that are now half forgotten, through a street scene of houses and shops.
Whether you take a ride on the Woodland Tramway, or experience the silence and comfort of the Trolleybus service, there is a new discovery to be made every minute. Or why not soak up the real atmosphere of the past with a walk along their period street, complete with authentic street furniture? There is also ample opportunity to view the many vehicles in the museum collection, and see how these are being restored to their former glory.
One of the best things is that once you have paid, all the rides on trolleybuses, trams and the railway are free, so you can travel on them as much as you like!
