JUNIOR GO-KARTING – THE DAYTONA DIFFERENCE:
Daytona Motorsport is the United Kingdom’s leading outdoor rental go-karting group. We pride ourselves on providing the facilities to introduce young racers to motorsport, fostering an environment where they can hone their skills, and facilitating competitive driving for all ages and abilities.
Daytona Milton Keynes' circuit was originally designed by F1 legend James Hunt. We built the 375m ‘North Circuit’ in 2003, a bespoke junior karting track for ages 6-15 years old, expertly designed to be challenging, with some technical corners but is also the perfect environment to learn and improve technique before graduating onto our International Circuit.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
Daytona offers Junior Karting sessions to all children and teenagers aged 6-15. Whether your child is a first time driver looking to have some fun on the track, or a budding F1 superstar, Daytona has a race format to suit their level. We also deliver unbeatable birthday parties.
BAMBINO KARTING (AGES 6-7)
Bambino Karting provides younger drivers with the opportunity to experience the thrill of controlling a race kart – but in a safe, closely managed environment. Bambino karting is available to kids aged 6-7, but all drivers must participate in an Induction before they are able to book into Bambino practice sessions.
JUNIOR GO-KARTING (AGES 8-15)
Junior practice sessions are the starting point for most young drivers. Once your child feels more comfortable on the track, it’s recommended they attend Race School, where they can earn Daytona certification, and qualify to take part in Junior Sprint Races and Championships, where they have the possibility to race adult karts competitively on the full circuits.
ADULT KARTS (AGES 14+)
Teenagers aged 14 and over can race in our fleet of Honda-powered 270cc SODI karts on the 1,360 metre adult track. Choose between a 20-minute practice session and 30-minute Open Race.

Bambino Karting for ages 6-7
Bambino Karting provides young drivers with the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving a go-kart in a safe, closely managed environment.
Bambinos must first complete two 20-minute induction sessions. The first teaches them how to brake, corner and drive under the watchful eye of experienced instructors, and the second moduleteaches them all the rules of racing and the flags. The induction finishes with a certificate presentation and an invite to return for Bambino Practice sessions.
The next step is to join our Bambino Practice sessions. These 20 minute sessions are held on the same 400m North Circuit as the induction and give your child the perfect stage to practice and hone their karting skills.
We provide a comprehensive safety briefing, all equipment and the session is supervised by experienced race marshals.
Junior Karting for ages 8-15
Daytona have two types of Junior go-karts, Cadet karts for ages 8-11 and Junior karts for ages 12-15. Our in-house engineering team maintain these karts to the highest standards.
The best starting point for most kids is 'Junior Practice Sessions', which are aimed at all abilities. Available in 20 minute sessions, young drivers can speed around our 400m North Circuit and embark on an unforgettable go-karting experience.
Once your child is signed in and kitted out with our race suits, helmets, gloves and balaclavas, we will give them a safety briefing. This will take them through track safety, flags, and kart control. After the briefing, they are taken to the pit lane. Then it’s time for them to head out onto the track for an experience they wont forget.
These sessions are perfect for beginners, thrill-seekers and aspiring racing drivers of the future.
