The David Livingstone Centre
is a child-friendly museum with hands-on exhibits and packed with items relating to David Livingstones explorations in Africa.
The museum is set in 20 acres of parkland and gardens overlooking the River Clyde with woodland walks, a play park and a Nature Explorers Club that runs once a month on Saturday mornings.
A shop and cafe might tempt you and these plus the grounds are free to visit.
