Visited the Play Barn in Feb half term with my two children aged 4 & 1. From the moment we entered we got told how busy it was because "it's half term"...and this continued to be the excuse for the delay on everything while we visited. It wasn't even anywhere near full to capacity based on seating so not sure how they class that as busy. The place was filthy, there were 4 staff members running around like headless chickens, everyone who came in seemed to get told 'it's busy, there are delays, it's half term' (what a welcome! seriously, you cater for children, what do you expect?). Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive and when it came it was boring and standard for the high price we paid - although from their website you would think they are serving michelin star food. Don't even bother going if you have any allergies or intolerances - the staff told me when I asked about something specific they have no idea 'about stuff like that'. To be fair the whole situation wasn't helped by parents who can't be bothered to watch their kids - one girl was jumping around the baby/toddler bit eating a hot dog with food flying everywhere, lovely! The actual playbarn itself was pretty boring and very limited - especially considering they charge more than my local soft play which is five times the size. All in all, nothing special at all and actually a big waste of time.
