Attraction Information
Set in 10 acres of scenic rural landscape the Calbourne Water Mill is one of the oldest working water mills in the UK, dating back to the Domesday Book! Back in the present however it's got loads of cool additions to make it a fun family day out, including their new Clay-Play zone where you can craft your own air dry souvenir, the ever popular lego tables and really giant chalkboards to make your mark on!
Your family may also hire a punt or a pedalo on the mill stream, play miniature golf on the putting green or croquet on the lawn, plus feed the Doves, Ducks Peacocks and Fish in and around the Mill Ponds, whom it must be warned are rather bold, even the fish!
You can get your educational fix in the small War Museum plus further special exhibits like Granma's kitchen, Granfer's Shed, the Old Bakery and the Fire Station to explore!
There is also camping available for those with tents, caravan and full campervans, so you can spend a couple of days really exploring the area and getting back to nature. Except you glampers in the campervans!
Throughout the year they offer regular special events including musical concerts, country fairs and seasonal parades! So plan ahead and surprise the kids with a little extra excitement!
