Bryngarw Country Park has oodles of woodland to explore, loads of grassland offering space to play family games, formal gardens for a floral aunter and loads of water features including ponds, lakes and a river! With ornamental bridges and wildflower meadows you'll be hard put to find someone who wouldn't like to have a walk here!
Kids will migrate towards the wooden adventure playground and a particularly huge and noticeable feature: The Tower Slide! There's also a climbing rock and a cleared out area with piles of deadwood at the side of the play park for kids to make dens with: cool! You can also download a list of every single type of insect and animal life that's been spotted in the park, which is excellent for printing off and keeping track on a mini beast safari! Will you spot them all, or will you be heading home before the bats are out?!
Their new woodland exhibit The Keepers of Bryngarw has families following trails to discover all kinds of sculpted little people, who between them carry a musical mystery that children of all ages will enjoy being party of. Ask for more information on site and they'll point you in the right direction and tell you what it's all about… loads of fun!

Lovely day out

Love this place it is on our door step, and we visit quite often, we never get tired of visiting we regularly go for the holidays as there are lots of craft days that run through the school holidays, there is always something new to explore if we go for the day we take a picnic and there is also a place where you can take your own disposable BBQ, kids and grown ups can get involved with the voluntary rangers, they have live theatre and music through the summer which is also something that should not be missed, children can paddle in he rivers and ponds if it's hot which all children love, the cafe serves lovely food and they have a great selection to offer, the prices are on the high side. But the food and service are exceptional there is something for all ages and it's well worth the £2.50 parking
