Attraction Information
Inside the centre, (which has full disabled access and facilities), their local staff can guide you round the exhibits and hands-on children's learning panels which illustrate the remarkable story of this lively village.
For adults and children alike, they have a wide selection of exhibits on the local Whiskey, Coal and Woollen industry as well as a fabulous display by their local Clyne Heritage Society.
Illustrated with hand painted maps and local artefacts, the exhibition tells the story of the area from stone age times right up to the present day. Anyone interested in genealogy and archaeology shouldn't miss this chance to get an insight into the vast history of one small part of the Highlands.
