Attraction Information
You'll find the museum connected to the Brighstone Community Library, surrounded by pretty thatched cottages.
The Brighstone Village Museum is run by the Brighstone Museum Trust and offers historical local insights into the region's past with an evocative tableau and interesting exhibition on village life in the 19th century. It considers social, craft and geographical data to provide a well-rounded educational look at the past. Great for kids doing regional history at school, but equally of interest to imaginative types who just like thinking about the way things were.
The library offers internet access and has specific zones for kids and teenagers, so that's nicely welcoming for a family visit before or after the museum. Also nearby there are several local attractions to extend your day out without going too much further afield, so be sure to check our local listings to grab yourselves a family adventure!
