Brighouse Bay Trekking offer trekking, hacking and tuition on a variety of well mannered mounts. Lessons are available from 7 years upwards on trustworthy native ponies led by experienced and qualified staff on their 60m x 20m sand arena.
Weenie Rides are available from 5 years and up, starter and walking treks from 8 years up, plus fast and beach hacks for the more experienced and own a pony days for all! Most of their ponies are Highlands and Fells, sure footed and safe ponies who instil nought but confidence in their riders. The helmets required are provided for all lessons and treks but the rest of your gear is a common sense issue, so feel free to get some guidance when you're booking your places.
Brighouse Bay Trekking and Beach Hacking is approved by the TRSS and is inspected annually to meet their high standards. They also offer Natural Horsemanship events on a monthly basis which are well worth turning out for if you've got a firm interest.
