The days are getting colder and that can only mean one thing - it must be November already! But don’t worry, the cold doesn’t have to put a stop to your family days out.

From snow leopards to videogames, we’ve rounded up the best things to do in November so you can enjoy some quality family days out as 2020 slowly comes to an end.

  1. Postal Museum, London

    The Postal Museum in London reopened on 29th October, just in time for your November days out! Pick up an activity sheet as you explore the interactive exhibits you can also hunt for storybook favourite Where's Wally.

    Hop aboard the newly adapted Mail Rail train running below the streets of London in secret underground tunnels and try your hand at sorting the mail a wobbly travelling post office carriage! With newly adopted technology in place, you’ll still get the same hands-on engaging experience you had before too. Weekends tickets are selling so be sure to book early or try out a quieter weekday if you can.

  2. We the Curious reopening November 6th, Bristol

    That’s right, your favourite museum is back! We The Curious in Bristol is opening its doors once again and we couldn’t be happier. Your little explorers will love discovering all sorts of new and awesome things here, plus it’s opening with a bang as they launch their brand new exhibit ‘What If’, how curious!

  3. Illuminated Evenings at Fairytale Farm, Chipping North

    Get ready for a magical day out at Fairytale Farm in Chipping North! On top of the 6 spectacular themed zones to visit, they’re also open a little bit extra every day for the Illuminated Evenings. Make sure to visit Snow White’s Castle and Garden and take a stroll through the Mermaid Garden, plus loads more spellbinding fun!

  4. Animal of the Month at Marwell Zoo, Hampshire

    This month is dedicated to the beautiful snow leopards at Marwell Zoo. Say hello to Irina and Indeever all of this month as we celebrate these beautiful endangered animals. And who knows, maybe it could even snow!

  5. Mini Museum Engineers Trail at Coventry Transport Museum, Coventry

    There’s even more fun to be had at Coventry Transport Museum this month with their Mini Museum Engineers Trail! Pick up your play box and follow the trail around the museum, packed full of awesome activities like spotting vehicles and letters to playing with shapes, it’s perfectly designed for your little explorers.

  6. Cadbury World, DJ Freddo’s Disco Dance Party Stage Show, Birmingham

    7th - 8th and 14th - 15th November 2020

    Hands up if you love chocolate! Cadbury World in Birmingham is definitely your one-stop-shop for all things chocolate, and this November you can even catch DJ Freddos awesome live show! There’s all sorts of sweet fun to be had on this great day out that everyone will love.

  7. Baby Orangutan at Chester Zoo, Chester

    It’s fantastic news at Chester Zoo! A surprise baby orangutan has been born, so get ready to say ‘aww!’ The baby was born back in June, but mums kept him very close so now's the perfect opportunity to try to get a glimpse of the adorable baby.
