Hello, summer! With the UK basking in glorious sunshine (let’s hope we haven’t jinxed it!), there’s no better time to make use of the ‘water’ filter on our site! Packed full of lidos, beaches, water parks and more near you, they’re the perfect spot to keep your cool whilst making the most of the weather.

  1. Danson Splash Park, London

    Located in Bexleyheath, Danson Splash Park is part of the wider Danson Park. Featuring interactive water features, plus a fully equipped wet play area, this is the perfect inner-city spot for your water babies. With free entry, refreshment kiosks toilets and baby changing facilities all available, what are you waiting for?

  2. Box End Park, Bedfordshire

    Suitable for children aged six and over, Box End Aqua Park is bigger and better than ever before. Home to a host of giant inflatable obstacles, you’ll have the chance to leap, climb and swing your way round the course. We guarantee they’ll be plenty of splashes along the way, and the park is also home to wakeboarding and water skiing too!

    The interactive splash pad at Wimbledon Sprinkler Park is most kid’s idea of heaven. Featuring six paddling pools, plus two interactive play areas that squirt, sprinkle and tip water, kids will love making a splash here. The best news? It’s completely free!

  4. Dorset Waterpark, Dorset

    Have your kids got what it takes to complete the Dorset Waterpark obstacle course? Bursting with challenging inflatable obstacles, including monkey bars, bridges and climbing walls, you’ll have to work together to avoid ending up in the water! Already rated 5* on our site, it’s been rated a must-see in Dorset!

  5. Cherry Hinton Water Play Area, Cambridge

    Perfect for little swimmers and water babies, Cherry Hinton Water Play Area is found within the grounds of Cherry Hinton Hall. Home to two small paddling pools with gentle water shelves, toddlers can enjoy making a splash in an area designed especially for them! There’s free admission too, so it’s a great little find for local parents.

  6. Hathersage Open Air Heated Pool, Derbyshire

    Heated to a lovely 28 degrees throughout the summer, a visit to Hathersage Open Air Heated Pool will have you soaking up the sun in the UK, whilst feeling like you’re in a tropical paradise. With public swim sessions each day, it’s the perfect place to cool off.

  7. Bridlington South Promenade, East Yorkshire

    On holiday, we tend to make a beeline for the beach, but there’s plenty of sun, sea and sand to be enjoyed right here in the UK. Bridlington South Promenade is a huge hit for families, with golden sand and a special Kiddies’ Corner just past the Spa Royal Hall. With plenty of facilities on hand, plus gorgeous scenery, it’s a fantastic spot o soak up the sun.

    Found on the edge of the Cotswolds, Sandford Parks Lido is home to slides, a children’s pool and a paddling pool for younger swimmers. Set in stunning grounds, there’s plenty of space surrounding the pool too, making it a great day out for the whole family.

  9. New Brighton Beach, Merseyside

    Don’t be fooled by the name, as New Brighton Beach is around 300 miles from the famous Brighton Beach! Found in the North-West, this seaside resort has recently had a £60 million redevelopment, with lots of things to do for the whole family.     With a sandy beach that’s perfect for building sandcastles and paddling in the sea, this Scottish beauty spot is popular with families of all ages.
