Tea lights...fairy lights...what’s the best kind of lights? Christmas lights, of course! Admire the twinkling in the black sky, feel the anticipation of the festive season approaching and listen to the buzz of excitement filling the air from everyone around you. Kick off the merry season the right way and attend one of many Christmas Light Switch on’s this year! Check out the list below of all the events near you.

  1. Tamworth Christmas Light Switch On, Tamworth Castle

When: Sunday 28th November from 17:00
Where: Tamworth Castle Grounds, The Holloway

Christmas is set to bring wonder and cheer, especially in Tamworth where the Christmas light festivities have moved from St Editha’s Square to the amazing Castle Grounds! With the most magical setting, this switch-on will be the most exciting one yet. And with the added extras of a variety of stalls, such as food, drinks, gifts and even mince pies and mulled wine, there’s something for everyone. Festive cheer will be abundant, with live performers, live music and radio too, but make sure to wrap up warm as the chilly nights come rolling in. Or maybe warm your bellies with hot chocolate for the kiddies...and mulled wine for the adults.
