Attraction Information
The Blickling Estate has been at the heart of this North Norfolk community since the sixteenth century and is famous as being built on the grounds of the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, second wife of King Henry VIII.
One of the most imposing and complete country estates in Norfolk, it offers you a glimpse into the lives of those who lived here over more than 400 years from the time of King James I to the outbreak of the Second World War. Explore the walks in the beautiful garden or park and enjoy plenty of trails and quizzes to keep kids of all ages amused.
See if you can spot some of our recent changes in the house and experience what life was like in the 1930s. Eavesdrop on conversations between the staff when important and famous people came to stay.
Follow the winding paths to discover the secret garden and meet the animals of Blickling wood in the new secret tunnels. Take a walk around the wider estate, find out who's buried in the pyramid mausoleum, follow the rubbings trail around the park and build a den or a stick ship in the woodland.
