Suitable for all ages
Venue type: Outdoor
Arguably Britain’s most famous theme park, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an award-winning mix of thrill rides, childhood favourites and classic seaside fare. So basically the perfect ingredients for a day out with the kids!
With 125 rides and attractions, all ages are catered for, starting with the younger kids who’ll go crazy for Nickelodeon Land. It has 12 fun-packed rides and a host of familiar faces like Dora the Explorer and her World Voyage, the RugRats' Lost River and Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic. If you’re lucky you’ll even spot Spongebob Squarepants!
Anyone who fancies a fright should head straight for the rollercoasters. ‘The Big One’ is the UK’s tallest rollercoaster with speeds of up to 87 mph! ‘The Big Dipper’ offers some old-fashioned thrills and is made entirely of wood, while a super scary Ghost Train will have you screeching and laughing in equal measure. There is a crazy golf course, a bowling alley and an arcade for hours of gaming. Also don’t miss the many events that feature all year round, like the Hot Ice skate shows or the touring Circus of Horrors.

A perfect day out for a six year old and above!!

Fantastic day out with my 6 year old. She's quite tall so was able to go on some of the bigger rides, but even if she hadn't I think we still would have had a brilliant day. There is such a variety of things to do. I used to go as a kid and pepsi max is still timeless! Depending on the time of the year there is always something going on. We saw the ice show which was outstanding. Would highly recommend a day out!
Great Fun at old Fashioned venue

A classic theme park with so much to do. Get the wristbands when they are on offer and arrive early. We had a great day and the old fashioned arcades are a must. Great value for money! Lots of places to eat and picnic.
Love the pleasure beach!

I love the Pleasure Beach - it has a sense of nostalgia for the good old British seaside, but also some cracking rides too. Something here for all ages really and I’ve always found the queues aren’t quite as bad as some of the other uk theme parks. You don’t have to walk miles to get around it either! Valhalla is my favourite ride, it’s like a log flume but better - be warned, it does go backwards at one point, and you get VERY wet!
Still brilliant fun for all ages

What a great experience! We were a group of 10 ranging in age from 60 to 5 years. I used to take my children when they were younger and it is amazing to see how the park has evolved yet still retaining that feeling of all the fun of the fair. Great range of prices too with the ability to purchase a much cheaper non ride pass if you are the coat holder! Expect queues for the most popular rides and buy on line for the cheapest tickets. Good selection of places to eat and drink however my favourite is still the sugar doughnut stalls.
