Get your skates on and speed down to Blackpool Ice Arena. This purpose-built rink is the oldest in the world and offers up hours of frosty fun.
Experience life on the ice like many sports stars before you, including one Olympic gold winner. Try out a class at The Dance Studio. Each one is run by a qualified instructor so just name a style, from Ballet, Jazz and Ballroom to Zumba, Pilates and Fitness; then finish off with Circus or Aerial Hoop! Parent and toddler sessions, beginners classes and power skate lessons are available. They’ll help you polish off your moves for the family disco session! If however, you want to stay on solid ground, there’s theatre seating all around the rink.
The arena is also host to the world famous Hot Ice dance show. It stars championship performers from across the world and is a true spectacle. Then if your kids fancy a go, check out the annual Ice Skating Festival in April. Children from all over the country can join in, show off their skills and enjoy the spirit of competition.
