Welcome to Battersea Park Children's Zoo, the perfect place for young animal enthusiasts! Located within the picturesque surroundings of Battersea Park in London, this wildlife park zoo offers family days out that are an exciting and educational experience for children of all ages. With its wide range of different kinds of animals and interactive exhibits. Kids can enjoy hours of fun and exciting opportunities with 'up-close' encounters. 

Things to do at Battersea Park Zoo 

Get up close and cuddly with amazing animals like otters, some particular cheeky monkeys, donkeys, lemurs and even a chipmunk or two as you explore the grounds. Spy on the meerkats from a secret lookout. Can they spot you? And if they all sound too cute for your little explorers, take them on a trip to the Reptile House where encounters with animals like a bearded dragons will impress the kids! There’s also all the slippery, scaly classics like snakes, turtles and a somewhat unexpected star: a giant snail! There's also farm animals, tropical birds and much more to see and this much-loved family park.

Daily Keeper talks

Enjoy animal encounters with daily friendly feeding time talks, which give kids the chance to get a little bit closer to their furry friends. Got a wannabee zookeeper in the family? You can even book a fantastic zoo keeper experience. This offers a great understanding of what it's like working at the zoo.

Fun-packed adventure playground and children's play areas

There’s also lots of active fun to be had in the adventure playground with lots of different activities for kids. Dig in the sand pit, where children can operate their own mini diggers, build sandcastles, ride a real tractor or just have fun climbing, sliding or jumping!

Cafe and gift shop 

Need some refreshments after exploring the zoo? Then, quench your thirst on cold drinks and refuel with light snacks at the zoo cafe. The cafe also serves Costa Coffee and has sweet treats like ice cream and cakes. Before you leave at closing time don't miss a trip to the gift shop. With its excellent range of souvenirs, toys and books any animal lover will be pleased with a purchase from here. Ideal for remembering your family day at the zoo.
