Attraction Information

You don’t have to wait until you’re on holiday somewhere warm to visit a waterpark, there’s one just around the corner at Wet N Wild!

Situated in North Shields, just beside Royal Quays shopping centre is the North East’s largest indoor waterpark. It has 10 amazing flumes! Brace yourself for an 80 ft. drop on Kamikaze, or enter the deep drop of the Abyss. The Tornado will leave you in a spin, while The Black Hole plunges you into a spiral of darkness.

There are medium and slow flumes to help those who are working their way up (in both nerve and height!) to the thrill rides, such as the whirlpools of Calamity Canyon and the twists and turns of the Cyclone. The discover play island is fantastic for under 10s with five slides, and the parents aren’t forgotten either with the lazy river and wave machine.

Get that holiday feeling just a stones throw from home!
