The Overhang Indoor Climbing Centre
Who are we?
We are an Indoor Climbing Centre in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. We are situated right on the award winning Castle Beach and are open all year round to the public. We offer instructor led sessions both on the wall and out on some of Pembrokeshire's beautiful coastal cliffs. It is great fun for kids, adults, groups and parties.
Why did we build The Overhang?
Climbing is becoming an increasingly popular sport, and we all just love it! Our passion is climbing and abseiling and all things vertical and we hope to be able to provide something that will inspire kids to try something new, create a place for climbers to train and have fun, and be another great reason for tourists to come visit Tenby.
Who can climb here?
Anyone from the age of 6 and up but we do allow competent climbers who register with us to bring in their own children under their supervision under the age of 6.
What can I do here?
We have various kids clubs, Have-a-go sessions, 60min Taster Sessions, NICAS, Birthday Parties and Outdoor Sessions.
If you come visit us, make sure you bring a pair of trainers or climbing shoes and clothing that will be easy to move about in but girls no skirts please! We also have a selection of climbing equipment to hire unless you book on to an instructed session or club where the equipment is provided free of charge.
