The Mayhew Animal Home is one of the most effective animal welfare organisations in London. It helps thousands of poor cats and dogs to escape a cruel neglectful life, and keeps them safe until they can be re-homed.
The home understands that when it comes to looking after animals properly education is the key! Which is why guided tours are offered on a Saturday and Sunday at 2pm - ideal for teaching children all about being a responsible and loving pet owner.
Visit the animals and see how much work goes into protecting them and restoring them to health. The centre also provides on-going support to pet owners who are struggling due to their individual situations.
A wonderful organisation that protects London’s pets.
