Attraction Information

The Kiln is a painting on pottery studio and tearoom. Once you have chosen a piece of pottery from their extensive range, children can choose figurines, name plaques for bedroom doors, money boxes, trinket boxes and much more!

They have a wide range for adults also why not choose a mug or tortilla chips and dips bowls! You are sure to find a great pottery project you will love! Once you have painted your piece it will be ready for collection in a week.

They have 3 different type of children's parties and also hold adult evening parties, hen parties and team building events. If you want to paint at your own venue they have pottery in a box which you can hire. At The Kiln they can put your baby's hand and footprints onto clay or plaster and have them framed.

Reviews

Friendly and Knowledgable staff! 5 out of 5 stars

I don't usually leave reviews but I had such a great time I feel I should! There were lots of pieces to choose from- I couldn't make up my mind! The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions or creative issues, like when I needed to use the Silk Screen print for my vase. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can tell it's a family business as the staff all seem to know each other well and the returning customers too. I also liked the shabby-chic decor :)

Poor service 1 out of 5 stars

I went with my daughter, my friend and her little boy. Our children are three. The staff were rude and we felt like we were bothering the staff, when asking for simple things, such as glass of water for paintbrushes or paper towels. The price was high considering the lack of customer service.
