Guest suitability

SOFO's main public galleries are all located on the ground floor and fully accessible. A lift is available upon request should a visitor need to access the first floor Research Centre (these rooms are not typically open to the public). The Museum has an induction loop system fitted in the reception area.

Parking facilities

Disabled parking is located directly outside The Oxfordshire Museum. The walk from the Park Street entrance takes approximately 5 minutes and is on level ground. There are also other spaces in Park Street but these are limited. There is a FREE public car park a short walk away (approx. 10 minutes) in Hensington Road.

Public transport

By bus: S3 and 500 from Oxford city centre. 242 from Witney. The nearest train station is located in Long Hanborough which is 4.1 miles away. Alternatively, regular buses run from Oxford Station to Woodstock.
