- Indoor and Soft Play Areas
The Play Area at Shuttleworth offers special High Activity units for older kids, brilliant for letting them stretch themselves physically and work on balance and stamina while having a great laugh too! Your little ones can play there for free, even if you're not planning on visiting Shuttleworth itself.
Much of the play equipment has been designed for "inclusive play": to provide play opportunities for children whatever their physical abilities. Some of the many features include climbing frames, slides, swings, bouldering walls and bridges spread across several structures with plenty of open space between and around to leg it about in. Great for team games and tag or just for exploring on your own!
And of course should you decide to stop and explore properly (do!) there's the Shuttleworth Vintage Aircraft Collection and the picturesque Regency Swiss Garden, a selection of Edwardian cars and buggies, classic motorcycles and early bicycles, plus the Visitor Centre and Gift shop and an on-site restaurant. Loads to do, see and learn about and the playground can be the cherry on the top!
Closed to general public on event days
Free admission to the playground
Please not that visiting Shuttleworth incurs a cost.
