BHS approved Pennybridge Riding School is a highly qualified and family run riding school which is fully licensed and insured, with qualified, experienced instructors ready to get you started! Beginners are just as warmly welcomed as old hands and all their horses and ponies are much loved, with well fitted and professionally checked saddles, on a regular basis and regular visits from a farrier, dentist and chiropractor.
Facilities include a large indoor school, and a floodlit outdoor arena. They also have a cool robotic horse that can be used to strengthen legs and improve your technique!
Children are well catered for with beginners starting off in half hour class lessons and progressing to an hour when no longer neeeding assistance by a leader. The Pony Club Centre runs open sessions every Saturday morning and during the holidays they run full pony days, when you can drop off older children for 5 hours (with a packed lunch) and they will enjoy riding and learning all aspects of horse care, whilst the parents catch up on work, housework or just sneak off for a rest.
And the friendly expert staff are able to train keener students from equestrian related GCSEs all the way up to fully recognised BHS qualifications, so if you get the kids started here there's no telling where it will end!
